Turn curiosity into confidence with the Bubble Maker program a fun, safe introduction to scuba diving for children aged 8 and up.
This course gives young adventurers the chance to take their first breaths underwater, under the direct supervision of a PADI-certified instructor, in calm and shallow water no deeper than 2 metres (6 feet).
Available exclusively on private Anne Bonny charters, this is the ideal experience for families who want their children to safely discover the magic of Indonesia’s reefs.

The Bubble Maker program is the perfect family-friendly introduction to diving, designed to build confidence in the water while keeping things playful and relaxed.
What’s Involved
The Bubble Maker experience starts with a short safety briefing and a hands-on introduction to dive gear — perfectly sized for kids. Then it’s time to get wet! Under the careful supervision of a certified instructor, kids practice simple skills and enjoy exploring a shallow, sheltered area filled with colourful marine life.

- Short safety and equipment introduction
- 1 shallow-water dive (max depth 2m)
- Full set of child-sized dive gear
- Supervision by a certified instructor
- PADI Bubble Maker participant certificate
Certification
The PADI Bubble Maker is a participation program, not a certification course — but it’s an unforgettable first step toward future training like the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course (available from age 10+).
Every participant receives an official PADI Bubble Maker certificate as a keepsake.
Location
The Bubble Maker program is offered during private Anne Bonny charters in calm, protected areas ideal for beginners:
- Raja Ampat: Shallow coral gardens near Arborek or Friwen Wall
- Komodo National Park: Calm bays with gentle sandy bottoms and tropical fish
