Open Water Diver — PADI Certification

Learn to Dive in Paradise

The PADI Open Water Diver course is your passport to a lifetime of underwater exploration.

Learn to dive in Indonesia’s warm, crystal-clear waters with the comfort and freedom of a private Anne Bonny charter, guided by experienced PADI instructors who tailor every session to your pace and confidence level.

This is the world’s most recognised dive certification — your ticket to diving anywhere in the world, up to 18 metres (60 feet).

Who It’s For

  • Complete beginners ready to become certified divers
  • Families or couples learning together on a private charter
  • Guests who prefer a more personal, flexible learning experience
  • Travelers who want to combine adventure with meaningful skill-building

The Open Water course aboard Anne Bonny offers the perfect mix of professional training and Indonesian adventure, away from crowded dive schools.

What’s Involved

Your PADI instructor will guide you through three key components:

  1. Knowledge Development — Understand dive theory, safety, and equipment use through e-learning and onboard review sessions.
  2. Confined Water Training — Practice essential dive skills in shallow, calm water until you’re confident.
  3. Open Water Dives — Four open-water dives in Indonesia’s vibrant coral reefs, reaching depths up to 18 metres.

You’ll master buoyancy control, underwater navigation, communication, and dive planning, all in stunning tropical surroundings.

Course Duration: 3–4 days
Maximum Depth: 18 metres (60 ft)
