Calico Jack would like to thank our colorful guests and Wicked Adventures for organizing such an epic solar eclipse exploration adventure.

The trip began in Raja Ampat Dampier Strait, trekking for the Bird of paradise, Diving with Mantas, snorkeling and manta ray presentation with local children from Arborek. We sailed north for a beach BBQ party, dived across the equator and trekked up the famous viewpoint overlooking Wayag’s stunning lagoons.

From here the adventure really begins to up the anti, sailing into unexplored Ayu atoll and discovering some amazing new dive sites.  Ayu definitely paid off and well worth further exploration.

Next stop our Eclipse destination 30 NM North of Ayu to an island called Fani. Here we find ourselves on the final frontier of Indonesian waters where only a half abounded Naval Base with 20 or so soldiers and pet coconut crab remain.
