Whilst onboard Calico Jack & Anne Bonny, we want you to relax and enjoy beautiful experience and the boat, however we take safety very seriously and this section is to inform you of the basic equipment available and procedures, should there ever be a problem.

Calico Jack has two fully serviced and certified life rafts on the sundeck for 20 person each.
There are two life jackets in each cabin’s cupboards and more on deck.
Three life rings, two at rear on dive area and one forward near the anchor winches.
We carry an ‘on demand oxygen regulator’ for the Medical Grade Oxygen Supply; one 8 litre tank and two 50 litre tanks at the dive area at rear.

We have a satellite phone and SSB radio capable of calling for help across International waters. An automatic beacon “Eperb” is located at the rear of the boat, which is registered with the international rescue authorities.

Fire extinguishers are located throughout the boat, one in each cabin, two in the galley, two in the engine room and in the crew area above rear along with ‘fire bomb’ units, for fast management of fires.

We have full range of distress flares and smoke.

In the event of an emergency, the ship bell will be sounds continuously and you should investigate immediately the problem by coming onto the deck. This could signify the injury that require attention, are, some flooding, or even a man overboard situation which require a team effort to solve.

In the rear event of evacuation, please do not wast time gathering bags and belongings as this will be very serious situation is called upon, meaning the boat is in grave peril.

Please, try to stay calm and await directions from the Owner, Cruise Director or Captain. As to the options to achieve safe evacuation, the speed boat and life rafts may be all employed to help.
